This talk will take you from my back garden (expect to see close up images of flowers and insects) into my street where you will meet some local characters (of the two and four legged varieties) and around the village of Bedlinog where I live. In the second part I will take you on some brief excursions to the Vale of Glamorgan, the Brecon Beacon and the 'Waterfall Country' of the Neath Valley before returning to the beautiful Pits Woods, just 20 minutes walk from my home, revealing how it changes across the seasons. It is an invitation to look close to home and to recognise the value of taking photographs close to home.
